We used to have multi-link notifications, but that’s not very touch friendly and cumbersome, especially considering that a push variant can only be a link to one source.  Ideally it’s best to have a notification leading to one page, but it should be tuned to lead to the most appropriate one - which we haven’t quite managed to get right in all cases. Clearly in a notification of successful connection/befriending it’s best to link to the other persons profile.

perhaps avatars as links to profile in on-site and email notifications too, but in push it would be only one link.
