Copy search box - SOLVED
Im trying to copy sitewide search box from upper left corner to upper right corner members area next to sign out button.
I was able to copy it add it there and it shows and opens.. but when it opens it stays there for about 2 sec and the whole page refreshes which cancels open search box. Is there a way to add working search box there?

You're trying to insert the search into the toggle menu box. But in Protean, it has been developed to be shown for several seconds and the search form there will require changes in the JS code. It would be better to use it in separate area.

Hello LeonidS ... the reason I wanted to move it is , you really cant see search icon when being on the site using phone. I found like 2 years old post here someone complained about it...but without resolution.
Then I realized if you flip the phone sideways, the search icon will appear. Then I played with desktop browser by shrinking its size...first search icon disappear from upper left corner, then icons from upper right corner start disappearing.
If you move your mouse pointer across header area, you will see that section for website name is too long. I wanted to see if I can shorten it but couldnt find where to edit items in header area..coudnt even find header area...Im thinking if website name section is shorter, it wouldnt push away icons in either corner therefore search icon will be visible on phone browser.
Can you point me where to look for it and or how to make it all fit?

Solved:
Wasted several hours but the solution was right in front of my eyes, just like everything else.
To add search box to members area( upper right corner ) got to studio then Navigation. under System choose Account notification set. Once it opens click on "import items". Simply chose search item. Once added, click on edit and make sure to type search (small letters) in "Icon" field.
