Facebook adding animation Overlays

I know I've posted about animation Overlays for the past year and how it helps improve user interaction and experiences. While many websites use this feature already, I had hoped UNA would have implemented it already. Well now Facebook has decided to start using them more...for payments, gifts, etc....I understand UNA is about providing content...BUT they really need to start working on Design and user interface. Especially for mobile viewing. UNA is great for older generations that grew up on simplistic looking forums, and old chat rooms but unless it starts to get creative with Design and user interface then I feel like alot of the new and younger generation will be put off. When I switched over to UNA from Dolphin it was because it was pushed as a fast Mobile experience. Dolphin was for websites, UNA was for mobile phones. To me it seems like UNA is less about mobile now. I hope soon UNA starts to research social media features that are popular and what people like. From designs to popular features to UI. Many of my friends are waiting for my app. Many of my friends use mobile phones and barely use social media on their PCs. One of the things Many say about my site is that it's not very mobile friendly, still far behind on basic UI content. On a PC it looks great but UNA promoted itself as Mobile...I will continue to stick with UNA but for many of us that just want a great mobile social network we have to get a lot of custom work done. Many of the stuff we're asking for has either long been implemented in social media already or gets passed on month after month and then Facebook or some other social media develops it and once again the ideas get put at the end of a long list. My rant is over but PLEASE UNA try and get a Design team together, do research on popular features and designs...even unique designs...tons of free code out there on Codepen.io and stay to your mission on creating a MOBILE social network...ask yourself does it look good on a mobile phone? Is it easy on the eyes? How does it look to other people using it....UNA has dropped the ball on alot of features....that later get picked up on other bigger social media platforms.

    • Hi Will - we are currently developing a new template based on Tailwind CSS for release with UNA 13. Tailwind offers many components for adding simple & seamless animation to your website, as well as a seamless experience for creating responsive design for mobile devices. You can check in out here.

      • Im sorry if I came off rude or impatient. I am not a coder and have basic limited experience with HTML and CSS. I read the article and from what I read it looks like it will help with building more mobile friendly features. How flexible will Tailwind be with UNA?
