Live Video Streaming app
Are there any plans to develop an app for UNA where members can have their own channels and be able to stream live videos? I know youtube is out there and is free, but I prefer to pay more money for a server and thus have complete control of the content and rules.

By default, users can create private channels using Jitsi in Messenger, but it doesn't allow to make stream visible for any number of visitors like youtube or instagram. Well, we can Install your own Jitsi/Jibri server which can stream to any other stream service which can accept RTMP format and make stream to visible for any number of users.

I'm not very familiar with Jitsi/Jibri, not sure how having my own server would work, but if it allows me to have public live streaming channels for registered members on my UNA site, than that sounds like a good option.
This is the situation, a lot of my friends have been using youtube but they are getting tired of YT blocking their videos and sometimes the entire channel. So we were talking about finding other options for video streaming, and i thought UNA could be a solution for that, but i need to figure it out.

I see live video streaming was added to UNA 13. I'm also wondering about live streaming and when might UNA 13 be released? Are we looking at a year or more?

Jitsi allows to create Video Conferences for groups of people with max about 100 users (depends on server's settings) and you can stream to Youtube by default.
Looks like default solution may work for you, but you need to have your one jitsi/jibri server, because default free server is not enough for your needs.

Lets say i get my own jitsi/jibri server installed on my dedicated server, how would i integrate the video stream window to UNA, in a way that when one of the members is streaming it will create a channel/page where viewers can visit and participate by commenting/like'ing, etc.?

Sorry, I've missed your question.
By default, Messenger has ability to insert block with Messenger to any page of the site. If you like to have this ability on Profile's view page, then you just need to add new Messenger block on Persons/Organizations View page and members can see the block and join to the Video Conference. Otherwise user can create rooms/channels as Messenger's standard talk. You can create talk with participants and then start Video Conference here and all the participants will get notifications and be able to join.
