You can enable the following option:

Studio > Settings > System > Account > Account is confirmed when > "phone is confirmed"  or "email and phone are confirmed"

Then you need to setup Twilio:

Studio > Settings > System > Twilio

System will automatically ask for phone and send SMS for verification and will accept phone as login.
