start with a minimal setup and as you will be using virtual servers, you may increase as needed in time.
for storage to be cost effective you may better use object based S3 solutions.
I am using my own virtual servers but my recommandation for a new beginner to UNA is using UNA's hosting options with S3 and having no headaches.
