Comment to 'License Not Working For Subdomain'
  • I think this is something to review. There are a couple of reasons that may warrant the need to categorize a single website especially when it's international in scope like I am trying to do for my project to enable better management or administration of the website.

I am proactively trying to create subdomains on the basis of countries or even regions, if it will make things easier for me. I don't think this country classification should necessitate buying multiple licenses. It's an unnecessary cost.

I have been reviewing also the benefits of chosing between subdomain and subdirectory in relation to SEO and ranking of the main url.

The subdirectories works fine with the license, but what if my review favours subdomain option?

I don't think the license should be another drawback for UNA that is still having a tough SEO walk-through. My take.

    • Not sure I understood reply but the Spaces module that comes with Powerapps will do everything you need without going through subdomains and licensing. Also, your site can be crawled and SEO friendly with the spaces and contents of spaces.

My project is a social impact initiative with a global scope.  I have deployed and tested Spaces where it's useful for it and I don't really want to give full details here bcos it's still a work in progress. I appreciate your care Jeremy
