  • I am one of those people, I want to have enough in case I grow, so I do not have to upgrade later. I personally use an unmanaged dedicated server with Centos 7 and Cyberpanel as my site panel. It is very nice and best of all free. If you are technical and good at searching the web, getting started is not too bad and that is knowledge you now have for life. I go through these guys and trust them, Wholesale Internet | Kansas City Colocation. They will not help with settings up your server, etc ( they are un managed). They will setup your RDNS for you and have an automatic system to reload your OS. They will also check if it is a problem on their end, hardware wise. The prices are affordable and I prefer custom servers because you can always add more later. So if I buy a server with 6 bays and  I start with a 2tb HD, I then upgrade 2 more 2 tb drives and then I can setup raid in future. The instant servers come as is, so no way to upgrade or add. You can always use secondary storage (AWS) though like you would with Cloud or VPS.
