Categories and Subcategories
I am suggesting an enhancement for the Forum categorization to enable it useful for those that may have wide project scope for example discussion on National security for different countries cannot be appropriately categorised as Security.
It should be a subcategory under USA because National Security is country specific to mention a few.
Take Auto industry directory or any directory for example: Automobile > SUVs > Trucks, divided into Brand like Toyota, BMW etc
Forum of global scope must give room for subcategorization. The present single level category will be too long and is limited in application just ok for corporate issues. I think Dolphin has this capability.

For the temporary solution, you may use hash-tags for the same purposes. Like Category "USA" and #National Security in the text of the posts.

Update!!
This under the Pre-Defined-List could be enhanced to enable creation of sub-list under a parent list (e.g selecting Country USA to load the States) to be used in form fields and creating subcategories in directories.

Now that SPACES has Parent and Sub-category, I think same should extend to Forums, Group and others where needed.

yea i had this same issue i asked in this post https://una.io/page/view-discussion?id=3956 if there was a way to add sub cats but now i know this i'm happy it will be sorted out at some point. P.S. Alex T⚜️ told me i could just use labels to do the thing that i am needing.
