Screen jumps hitting delete in Mobile

If I type a comment anywhere (including here) and hit the delete key the screen jumps all around. I am using and Android phone with Chrome but I can say that the default Samsung Browser does it too. I do have Froala installed if that even matters.

You typing the word  hello and then try to delete every letter.

    • Any ideas on this one? Can anyone else test this and see if they can reproduce it other than me?

Just type this whatisthis (all together) in a comment here and then try to delete/backspace 1 at a time. This is only happening via Mobile.

      • Yes I confirm Chris, I tested with FF it does not, but with the browser Samsung it does as you describe.

        • Hmm. OK. I haven't tried with FF.. So that means it does this with the Samsung browser and Chrome as well. Thank you for confirming.

          • Can we get this added to the issues list?

            • I can't reproduce the issue in Chrome browser on Android 8.1

              • Android 7.0 for me

                • Please try on latest version of Android Chrome browser, build-in browser usually is very old.

                  • Hello Alex, my version is up to date, see ...

                    • Android 8 for me.  Attached chrome version.  This only happens when you try to delete 1 letter at a time. If you delete a whole word,  it doesn't.

                      • Could somebody please check if the problem has place on froala website ?

                        https://www.froala.com/wysiwyg-editor

                        • Hey Alex T⚜️ - Sorry for the delay but yes, I went to that site and the same thing happens there as well using the demo on the homepage. I started to delete one of the words there and it jumped to the top of the screen. Again, this seems to be with Chrome and Default Samsung browser.

                          • I had one of my techie members try some things.  It works fine in chrome on other devices.  I'm starting to think this is related to Samsung devices now.

                            • Hello Chris, in fact yesterday a person told me this: "By cons using the delete key to correct and erase, it always brings me back to top of page.A problem solved, another found, I have this problem on the smartphone and on the tablet 😂 ".
So you do not have hallucinations :-) But I tried on several devices and I do not have this problem ...

                              • Chris, TIP: dont jump around while deleting letters 😂

                                • From what the person said to me, the problem would appear only on the profile modification, in the forums for example, he works normally, you confirm that Chris?

                                  • Cant confirm on Android 6.0.1 (galaxy S5)

                                    Cant confirm IOS, iphone 8

Cant confirm Android 7.0 (galaxy S3)

                                    • Interesting results in the mobile OS emulators. For Galaxy S5 (Android 4.4.2) and S7 (Android 7) in the Chrome browser this problem exists. FF on both phones works fine with this editor.

                                      • I figured I would reply to this discussion since I saw that Benster also reported it as well. This is still an issue for me and others. This happens here at UNA and of course my site as well when posting a timeline post, or commenting anywhere (including forums). Seems to be specific to Android devices with Chrome browser and Samsung's default browser. FireFox is not affected.

The best way to that I can explain for those who want to try and reproduce is to do the following:

Using Android and Chrome, type a word in the comments here - hit the space button about 3 times - then hit the delete/backspace button 1 time. That should jump you to the top of the page.

                                        • this jump is also happening here when we add one emoji

                                          • Ah I was just looking after this post, because a member told me just now, I confirm, Samsung + his browser in other words, in my opinion 70% of users ...
