URL not found on server

I recently installed UNA and the homepage comes up fine, but I cannot create a profile or click any other pages.

The error message is as follows:

Not Found

The requested URL /page/account-profile-switcher was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I just discovered this platform today and I am completely blown away by it so far!

This all happened because I was trying to install Dolphin only to deal with errors for 3 hours and realize I cant use it on PHP version 7 lol...

    • Also, in settings, I dont see anything for the pages module. Dont know if this is normal or not.

      • Hello, and yes dolphin is not yet compatible php7 :-)
Check that mod_rewrite is enabled, see here to help you. https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-rewrite-urls-with-mod_rewrite-for-apache-on-ubuntu-16-04

Check also in Studio / dashboard / => Host Tools => Server audit / Files folders permissions that everything is ok,

When you have found the solution for that comes back with the page module problem giving details.

        • I am not very good at this, I dont have ubuntu, I have windows 10.

My site has hosting and I have cPanel.

I downloaded eAccelerator files. Do I use that?

          Here is the errors:

          Site optimization

          PHP:

          • PHP accelerator = - WARNING (The script can be much faster if you install some PHP accelerator)
          • PHP setup = litespeed - OK

          MySQL:

          • key_buffer_size = 134217728 - OK

          Web-server:

          • User-side caching for static content - click here to check it in Google Page Speed
If it is not enabled then please consider implement this optimization, since it improve perceived site speed and save the bandwidth, refer to this tutorial on how to do this.
To apply this optimization you need to have expires_module - Array
          • Server-side content compression - can be checked manually or in "Page Speed" tool build-in into browser.
If it is not enabled then please consider implement this optimization, since it improve perceived site speed and save the bandwidth, refer to this tutorial on how to do this.
To apply this optimization you need to have deflate_module - Array

          UNA:

          • DB cache = On (File based cache engine) - WARNING (installing PHP accelerator will speed-up file cache)
          • Pages cache = On (File based cache engine) - WARNING (installing PHP accelerator will speed-up file cache)
          • Page blocks cache = On (File based cache engine) - WARNING (installing PHP accelerator will speed-up file cache)
          • Templates Cache = On (FileHtml based cache engine) - OK
          • CSS files cache = On - OK
          • JS files cache = On - OK
          • Compression for CSS/JS cache = On - OK
          • This has nothing to do with "Desktop" operating system. So, if you're using cPanel... then you're running CentOS because that's the only operating system they support. Isn't eAccelerator dead?

            • Oh okay, I didn't know that.

Not sure, don't know how else I could fix this problem now... :(

              • I reinstalled UNA, same issue. I don't know how to install a php accelerator nor do I know which is compatible

                • Ah, so it appears as though I might need a VPS. No wonder why I didn't know what any of these things were... I will look into getting one asap!

                  • Brianna Coyle Why do you say you need a VPS? UNA can run successfully on a shared hosting server.

                    • I can't download a php accelerator with what I have. I do not have Apache among many other things.

And it seems as though no one is able to provide help with this issue...

I can't think of any other solutions.

                      • Brianna Coyle  Litespeed uses the same configuration format as Apache. Much better to have access to your CPanel and do it than try to type all what needs to be configured.

                        • The provided URL is incorrect  try to install the una key. I tried using the full link for the domain and the sub directory and that does not work.

                          • Brianna Coyle If you can not setup rewrite rules properly then you can just disable it in UNA Studio > Settings > Permalinks > Uncheck all checkboxes here.
