Notifications for Rocket Chat?

I understand that RocketChat (aka Chat+) is an integration with UNA but is there a way to have some type of notification to members when a user enters a room if they are on another page at the website?

    • This is the big disadvantage that blurs the immense qualities of #rocketchat, this has already been much discussed because it is the same problem in dolphin, many have sought a solution to this but to my knowledge nobody could do it .
      I left out for that reason, too bad. But currently it is a place apart in the site and because of the problem you mention, you get 500 people who pass on the day but never at the same time, so can exchanges in the end.
      The question is, are you going to do anything to solve that?

      • Not really sure how that can be done at this time myself. There is a 'Push' notifications that seems to only work if you are using the Rocket Chat mobile app to connect to your site's chat. Unfortunately, the Rocket Chat version in UNA is really old so that will not even work. 

        I wish I knew more about what the 'big enhancement' to Jot Messenger was going to be. If they plan on expanding this app to include something similar to public chat rooms, then that would be great. I haven't seen what these plans are yet or when they will be coming out. Seems RC10 is still at least a few weeks out if I understand correctly.
