Dolphin Connect

We would need a "Default member's level to assign after person's profile creation" option specific to this module.
It can be set to "pending validation" for person module, but people who joined the site with dolphin connect, are people we already know and have already been validated.
It is not possible to distinguish the two for now and it is boring.
We would also really need a personalized redirection url, to explain what has been transferred and especially that they just received a new password.

    • Ok, I read the latest news, so I realize that my request is more important than I thought. if you push people to take the plunge, I'm happy, but Dolphin connect is of paramount importance.

      • There is already an option in Dolphin Connect module - "Always approve profiles when joined using this module" witch works together with disabled "Activate all persons after creation automatically" option in Persons or Orgs modules.

        So you can manually approve all unknown members, but known Dolphin members will be approved automatically.

          Settings => Dolphin Connect => Always approved when using this module = checked
          Settings => Account => Automatic account activation after creation = unchecked
          Settings => Persons=> Activate all persons after creation automatically = checked
          Settings => Persons= => Default member 's level to assign after person' s profile creation = Pending
          This is my problem! I do not want new members that I do not know can do an action until I see his profile! So not "standard" but "Pending" (I think it's made for that)
          A new member joins us, ok, he can not do anything. Perfect !
          A member comes from my Dolphin site via dolphin Connect ... well ... he can not do anything either, he is also at the "Pending" level!
          So I need to tell Dolphin Connect that it has to put members up to standard because I already know them.
          Did not I understand something?

          • I would suggest to set the following settings for your case:

            Settings => Dolphin Connect => Always approved when using this module = checked
            Settings => Account => Automatic account activation after creation = checked
            Settings => Persons=> Activate all persons after creation automatically = unchecked
            Settings => Persons= => Default member 's level to assign after person' s profile creation = Standard or Premium
