Discussions - block -> favorites by

There is a problem with the *favorites by block*. The name of the user is not shown, some code instead.

In Studio the title should be correct, as it is--> Favorites by #a href="{profile_link}"#{display_name}#/a#

I replaced, only here in the forum, the link tags < and > with #

Please see the image attached.

I wonder that this happens in this block. In other blocks like exp. photos the same title code works well....

Any ideas?

    • This block can't work on all pages, by default it's placed in Profile > Discussions page and it is displayed there just fine. 

      Please specify where you moved this block?

      • Thx Alex T, I did not know, that the usage of this block is limited to predefined 'pages'. Your answer makes sense and now I understand why it can't work on the discussion home page.

        So, after some research in UNA wiki, documentation and forums:

        • Is there any description/documentation for better understanding of the ''limits'' of blockusage, especially when blocks are strong connected to defined apps? (like favorite discussions to Profile)

        • Sorry there is no description of each block and where it can be used.

          Usually the blocks which are on the content pages can work on content pages in similar modules. For example block with friends can't be placed to the page with Photo view. Content pages usually have urls which are ending with ?id=NN or ?profile_id=NNN.

           The blocks which are on common pages, such as homepage usually can work on any page.
