Need some help

Hey everyone, I trying to figure out a way to add Friends, Notifications, and Messenger icons at the top right next to the members name. I have attempted to import some of them in that location and they DO show there BUT... It doesn't pick up 'counter' notifications as I was hoping. The number counter still shows over the Avatar instead. 

Is this even possible to do? The ideal goal is to have them collapse back under the Notifications menu when viewing in Mobile. Making them only visible when in Web mode. 

Am I reaching too far here? LOL

    • I have done this but friends icon is not at front.

      You can notification and messenger icon by using import menu item option. Then you need to disable notification and member icon from old place. Then you can see the notification counter.

      As for example you can see at publicapp.in 

      I have not added friends icon because that have two friends menu item first one for persons and second one for organisation so both icon are being visible. So I have not added friends icon.

      I hope you understand my language or if not then I will add comment to do that with step by step.

      • Thank you. Maybe that was the issue since I did not disable them from the notifications menu.. I will give it a try. 

        • Thinking a little more, this would be great for viewing via Web but, if viewing by Mobile, the icons will overlap the site logo right?

          • It depends on what template you are using. 

            In lucid template, logo is at left side and I have used two icons and I can use two more icon without overlapping.

            • My Lucid template does not have a mobile menu so, I can't use it. 😭 

              • You can use it at right side.

                Go to navigation and then member toolbar. In member toolbar, you can import items by clicking on "import items" button and then make notification icon and messenger icon not visible for unauthenticated people.

                I'm also using lucid and I've imported menu items and they are not overlapping. Everything running good.
