Any ideas on how to create a job listings market?

Any ideas on how to create a job listings market? sort of like Craigslist.

    • I think it's best to use the Market app, create categories accordingly and modify the product form via Forms builder to suit a job listing. Craigslist is not a "jobs" site per se, it's just a Classifieds site with lots of categories. You could mimic it even with Discussions or Posts + Spaces, but Market would give you an added possibility to process payments/orders on-site.

      • What we need is a db module we can form in to any purpose. Listings like jobs, yellow pages, etc., should not be created from a specialized module, but from a module which creates a db with the fields we need, a backend to administrate and a frontend to show off.

        and try to figure out how to turn this into a free module.
        Soo many things to do and I only have about 20 years left to live... *sigh*

        • A general app that I can use for anything and name it what I want and be able to use it multiple times in the same installation would be the perfect app. Like an app builder.

          • "Forms" in Developer is what they call a "Form Builder". I still agree that there should be a proper form builder that is much less confusing and more friendly.
            My point was to make this simple tool user friendly and that would attract a larger crowd of users. Right now UNA is just an "out of the box" framework for Happy Coders. In my eyes - A half finished product with a lot of ambition that has spread too thin and is loosing quality. That's how most conquerors lost their empires.
            UNA is amazingly confusing. Reminds me of Monkey Island Adventure game, where you have to go here and there and sideways to do a simple task. And at each point you have to spend a month figuring out how that works. In between you can get tips and hints from different characters.
            UNA has an amazing potential and that is the main reason I stay with UNA - almost patiently.
