aqb blocks dropping to the end of page

Hi AQB Soft ,

I noticed that profile completeness and quick photos blocks are going to the end of the pages after a while although I put them to the beginning of the page each time.

Can you please check this.

    • Hello

      The apps add their blocks at the end of the blocks list by default.
      So, if you Dectivate and Activate the apps in Studio their blocks will appear at the default position (end of the blocks list) again. It's a default behaviour for the apps to reset menus, menu items, page blocks, etc when the app was Dectivated and Activated back.

            UNA apps cannot move their blocks by themselves. UNA script doesn't have such "feature". :) There're only 2 ways of how it can happen:
            1. manually via Pages builder
            2. automatically when the app was Activated/Dectivated. 

            However if you describe step by step how I can reproduce the issue I'll investigate it and release an update for the app(s).

                What I observed till now is:
                When the templates are  updated your blocks drop to the end without user intervention.

                  • I have this module from the beginning, I have not seen it move yet. Cem explains exactly what you do, I tried to save the template but without consequences at home.

                    • These blocks are going to end without disabling/enabling them.
                      I am not very sure in which conditions are happening but conditions I observed is:
                      For my experimental site when I upload the new version of Lucid template this problem happened.

                      Also another happened on the same time when Alexey updated messenger.

                        It's very strange. I know the process of template installation and applying the upgrade but I don't know how both of them may affect the structure of page blocks. Theoretically, the author of the upgrade may joke and reset the stucture using MySQL query but don't think that Alexey is so joker. :)

                        As you wrote you've "uploaded the new version of Lucid" template. Did you apply the upgrade or installed a fresh latest version of template? If it was the upgrade which versions did you update from and to?

                        • In the sandbox site I installed a fresh version of Lucid template by uploading the latest files and overwriting the old ones.
                          But the same problem is happening on the live site from time to time.
                          I will observe more we will see :)
