Member Capacity / Issues with site using UNA platform

I will be doing a big marketing campaign to get my site out in my region to increase membership, how many users can the UNA platform handle and will there be issues with many members using site all at once? I host my site through TMDHosting... what issues could I expect to have if there is a surge of membership?

i guess all this have to do more with the hosting, email servers and DB resources and configuration than the code itself, although it has a certain impact ... anyoen can share a website powered by UNA and with a provne parge audience ?

That beig said i kind of find the hosting cost way to high for the number of concurrent users
