JOT Messenger Bug

When uploading a video with plyr installed inside of jot messenger  it seems to break the messenger app.

It also produces a .webm and .mp4 version of the video as well.  I thought .webm was asked to be removed by andrew...

The only way i found to get JOT to work after this is to remove some entries in the database for the video upload.  then refreshing the page.

bx_messenger_videos_processed

bx_messenger_jots

bx_messenger_files

Error in console: Plyr is not defined - screenshot attached.

Guessing JOT Server was written 2 years ago and plyr was not thought of then....

    • Hello!

About formats: .webm still exists in Messenger to make just recorded videos to be playable without delays, because default recording format is .webm and most part of browsers can not record videos in mp4.

Video processing is not connected with Jot Server and can not influence on UNA Plyr integration.

I will try to reproduce described problem, seems like your image with problems was not attached.

      • Inserted the image...  plyr is not defined error.

        Thanks for the .webm info.

        • ok, thank I have reproduced the problem, It will be fixed in the next update.
