Photo/Video/Album moderation

I was looking through settings to see if there were a way to set any photos/albums/videos to be moderated/approved before they are posted to the site.  This was a setting that was available with the Dolphin community software but I cannot seem to find it in UNA.  This is something that is somewhat important as it allows the ability to keep illegal/copyrighted material from being posted.

    • It actually allows administrator to proactively prevent contents that are not wanted or illegal. I think it's better than an open system that depends on when others report issues after it might have gone viral.

      I think it's a feature good to retain.

      • I completely agree with you. But what will you do when your site will have 1,000 publications per day? It is not possible to manually check such a quantity of downloaded materials.

        • I think that Photo/Video/Album moderation is a necessity for social networks especially for professional, education, and age specific networks. It is difficult to have a religion network when some wiseguy keeps signing up and randomly posting nude photos. I could always hire a few people to sit there and moderate the content. Or people from their church could volunteer to moderate the content for their community for free.

          • We need this feature too. For a dating website it is a must to approve user generated contents before publishing

            • It's not tough to preview and approve or delete. 

              Approval display page can be built to show thumbnails (Small/Medium/Big) sizes with optional quantities 50,100,150,200 etc.

              You choose your display preference based on your connectivity strength. Select all, Then scan through to see and deselect the bad ones and approve and trash the rest. I think it's worth the trouble.

              Let whoever does not want it have the option to activate "Auto Approve"

                • In UNA there is pre-moderation for profiles only (and Glossary), however in the future we're planning to add pre-moderation for other content modules as well:

                      Sorry That I used this old post, But gives nor a possibility to approve photos and videos by admin?

                      For a dating script it is important to have this. Better is to make it if this a normal pictuer/video or adult pictuer/video. And it have to give the possibility for member level to give them the view for adult pictuer or not.

                      Perhaps a developer want to make an app for this. So he can get in contact with me.
