Visibility says "You need to select some value"

When someone posts something using united post form, the default visibility is "public". If a person leaves it as it is and makes the post, an error shows up under the visibility field that reads "You need to select some value" and then shows "me only" as the new default. If the person presses the "publish" button again without changing the visibility back to "public", then the post successfully submits as "me only". Also, if the person does change it back to "public" it successfully submits as "public". The visibility field isn't always being registered the first time and it is causing an error.
