Invitations
with the invitations module, does this allow users to send an invite to their friends via email...and if so where would a user have to navigate to get to it. Also, is there a way to put an invite link in the user menu at the top of the page so when they click on their name/avatar there is a send invite link?

Yes, all users who have the access to invites-requests page are available to send invitations by email. About the link to invite on the avatar - well, no, because the invitation link means the form where the user enters emails and then press "Send" button.

LeonidS, let me rephrase. I would like to add a link to the invite page under the account menu, so when someone clicks on their avatar at the top right of screen, they can click invite and and be taken to the invite page...this way they do not have to navigate to their dashboard to be able to do invites, if that makes sense

Yes, it is possible. Just add new link like page.php?i=invites-requests to your System->Account Dashboard or Toolbar member menu items

thank you again for the quick reply....I did as you suggested but the invite link is not where I am wishing to have it....looking at the menu builder it seems where I am looking to put this is in the account popup menu. See attached image

This menu set is called "Notifications" and belongs to "System" module.
