Reactions Requiring Two Clicks

Are those that have converted to 10 seeing a positive response to reactions versus the Like button?   I'm not crazy about requiring two clicks to register a Like.    On FB you just hover to get the reaction Icons and so it's still a one click process.

    • The problem comes in when it comes to using Mobile devices, which a lot of people do. You cannot "hover" using a Mobile device and even with Facebook, if you are using Mobile, it requires 2 clicks too.

Not sure how you could have just a single click when it comes to both Mobile and Computer.

      • Most internet users have an intense sense of urgency. No one wants to click twice if it can be avoided. Same for the "hamburger" menu, which admittedly is needed on small mobile screens. Same for Search icons which open another page. Nor do they want to look at a long row of tiny reaction icons and try to figure out what they mean... A short row may be cool to some users, true.

The last I heard, mobile is bigger than desktop and laptop combined. UNA was built, in fact, upon the objective of "mobile first".

In Africa, they say, more people have a smart phone than running water. So, we must simplify where possible and satisfy these users.

Oh my, I am really wandering off the subject...

        • Ahhh - well that's good to know(the facebook and double click)  But I still prefer the simple one click one Like.  Being able to "Love" or express Anger just isn't used that much relative to Like.  Regarding Mobile: 70% of my users are on Mobile and it's only going to go up.

          • Hello

Reactions were created in addition to previously used Likes. So, if you don't want to use Reactions with a number of choices you may disable it and enable Likes. For example, if you want to do it in Posts app you need to do the following:
Go to Studio -> Navigation -> Select Posts -> Select View Actions menu, disable Reaction and enable Vote (for).

            • Thanks but on FB you can Like with just one click on mobile.
