Anyone use TMD Hosting?

I use TMDhosting. So far so good. Prompt response and action using their tickets. They will help with UNA in any way they can.

However any server can collapse overnight. One learns about this the hard way if one does not take steps to have backups somewhere other than at the server. If one feels that any server is infallible, one should see a psychiatrist ASAP.

my server host is Fast Comet its shared hosting for now but i plan on getting a dedicated server package from them a little down the line

Michael Beloved, how long is the longest video you have been able to post so far? Are you on a shared server at TMD? Thank you.

i hear ya dude sounds like a great hosting provider fast comet are also just as helpful they will help with anything need be they have 5-6 dif departments for support tickets from cpanel help to softaculous scripts they also have 24-7 support i got help at 5 pm uk time at one point and at 3 in the morning at another time both times i got a support adviser within 15-30 mins and the problem both times was fixed within the hour

We use business cloud/clould hosting at TMDhosting. So far for videos, we have only embedded youtube videos of about over one hour. Those were embedded in UNA's discussion module.

You might want to try your native UNA video module sometime. TMD is a fine service but they have been consistently weak in the area of self-hosted video - unless you purchase a dedicated server plan. A very expensive proposition unless you have a very large group.

Otherwise, TMD have been quite responsive. I've been with them for three or four years.

The problem is the video "processing" which results in a huge but temporary spike in server resources. This was not an issue with Dolphin. You are not merely uploading a video - that is no problem - but this uploaded video must then be processed into 2 formats - one for small screens, one for larger.

For me, youTube is no longer an option since they now torment viewers every few minutes with advertising.  :)

UNA video module does not allow embedding youtube videos by members only by admin. UNA staff said they are working on including that in the module in the future, just as it was in the module for Dolphin.

Our site is more a forum (discussion) place rather than a viewing place.

More for the elderly, I guess. Its about meditation and yoga.

We pull in absolutely zero revenue so there is no income to afford many for-pay modules. We did try the UNA video module but once we realized it was not like the one on Boonex, we cancelled the subscription.

Well am on TMD and so far good.

But I did a Server Audit yesterday and got this, can anyone tell me the effect of this REDs bellow on UNA?

Or is this an isolated case? Am yet to go live. Want to be sure all is well.

i got oks on all my cache's but i have a amber warning on php accelerator you have the one thing i got a warning for and i have ok on things you have fail on talk about opisits

good call dude i did the same with Fast Comet and they have fixed my php accelerator i now got oki with in instead of warnings :D
