THE REDIRECT URI PROVIDED IS MISSING OR DOES NOT MATCH

Hello, when I'm trying to install apps I get the following error: THE REDIRECT URI PROVIDED IS MISSING OR DOES NOT MATCH 

(This is on a new install) 

I'm also having trouble updating to UNA 10 on both of my UNA sites. It says it will be updated within a minute but nothing updates.

    • Have you generated a UNA account key  and UNA account secret, then copy both and paste them in studio > settings > general?

        1. UNA Key&Secret can be genereted here. Also don't forget to use correct site URL during K&S generation.

        2. If you see the offer to update your UNA and after clicking with update link you're getting 'it will be updated within a minute' then the update is scheduled and should be performed automatically using Cron. In the same time if nothing happened then you have some problems with Cron. May be it wasn't configured or configured incorrectly during initial UNA installation. You may check it dirrectly in CronTab (Cron Jobs) of your server or use UNA Studio -> Dashboard -> Host Tolls -> Server Audit tab -> Site Setup section. It has info about cron jobs.

          Hi Anton, 

          Thanks a bunch for your help. I found the cron job info but I'm not sure if it is correct or not. I'm also not sure how to fix it and set it to run every hour etc.

            UNA Cron Jobs should be run every minute. How to setup it properly (in different ways) you may read here

              Your current membership (Standard) doesn't allow you to 'Post links'. 

              I've tried to post a picture and copy and paste the cron job info on my server but it won't let me because I'm only a premium member here... Please advise.

                Hi guys, thanks for your help. I do have the keys and secret codes entered for both sites. Still no luck. I assume it is a problem with the cron jobs though I cannot paste them here or post a picture as my account says standard even though I believe I have premium account as I came from Boonex.

                • 1. you have a standard account go to your profile then scroll down till you see your membership where it says standard from there you should have the option to upgrade it costs $12 a year this cost is to prove your a genuine person and not something like a spam bot

                  the site has to be as it was typed out in the installation for example if your site was typed out like this https://www.MySite.com it would have to be typed out this way in the Keys and Secrets section if it was typed out like this https://www.mysite.com then you would type this out notice the difference with the upper case letters these keys/secrets website urls are case sensitive

                          Hey guys, I just changed the registered site to https within una and updated the key and secret on my site. 

                          The update to 10.0 is still not working. I assume it's wrong cron job settings.

                                    Winner winner chicken dinner. Thanks for this info i was having the same problem to. Just check the install email and use the url listed there that doesn't end in /studio and it will work. Not sure step one is needed i did that first and that did not resolve the resolve was step 2 as i had www.site.com instead of site.com.

                                    • Hi CMP glad this helped fist of all step 1 is only for a premium membership not needed for una market access. step 2 is for una market access to install the modules/apps but as you did go and get a premium account you can now get better help here you have the ability now to post links images and @ people
