How can I add simple booking facility with calendar to my website

I want to add 'booking' functionality to the organisation page, so that professionals can use their organisation page to receive booking requests. Any idea how to plan this? I've started creating the booking form but I don't know how to allow professionals to accept or reuse this booking request. I also want to have a calendar block that shows confirmed bookings on both user and organisation profiles.

        yes, I looked into permissions but I'm still struggling to develop a booking module where the user send the booking request, which goes to the professional for confirmation, and finally appears on the calendar of both users. I found a piece of free php code for booking on the internet but I'm still new to php, and I find it difficult to customise it to work on my website.

          I guess you need to investigate Event app and think how it may be applied to your purposes :-)
