Albums - Questions & Suggestions

1. If I understand correctly, you can download anything as media in an , so you can have an album containing and .
So when you go to "Album Management" the proposed button is named "Add / Edit Pictures", which is disturbing. I suggest you replace it with "Add / Edit Media"?

Where can I change this list?

3. Why it does not contain , etc..? What's planned for sound files?

4. What about embed videos? People really enjoy making an album with their favorite videos. I know he can share them via the Outline, but it's not the same thing, because when he publishes them in an album that belongs to them, they feel like they own them, do you understand?

    • 1. It's named as Pictures to not confuse people who has vague understanding what is media. We'll probably rename it to "Add/Edit Images", from my understanding imaging is suitable for both, what do you think ?

      2. Allowed list of extensions for albums can be changed in `sys_objects_storage` table, `bx_albums_files` row, `ext_allow` field.

      3. We plan top add support for sounds in future versions but not sure if it will be part of albums or another module.

      4. Embeds are suitable for independent Videos module, but not for Albums, so it will be part of some other module functionality.

      5-6. Please check if you are using correct ffmpeg binary for your OS and cron jobs for UNA are working correctly.
