Problems with Datepicker

I see that for some of my users the mandatory Datepicker field becomes an insurmountable obstacle, they throw it even when all other fields are filled. In particular, this situation is observed when filling from a smartphone. All modern Datepickers look something like this: https://prnt.sc/pkktfi

Now I do not know how to change the format to Russian 17.10.2019, besides, it seems to me Datepicker itself is outdated, I need a simpler and more modern one. As a workaround, I will write a short instruction for users. I think developers should keep this in mind.

Please specify the OS and browsers in the mobile devices of the users who met the mentioned troubles. From my side, in old Android 5, but latest Chrome, it works fine (btw in the mobile client too).

It's not about the browser. When a user clicks on a date field, he sees that it becomes active and tries to enter values, but the user does not know in what format to enter them. If he selects using Datepicker, then he might not have a clue how to use it.
