Discusison categories
Sorry, me again. I've created some new discussion categories but they're not listed under the user view of 'Discussions Categories'. How do I get them to appear? Tks

OK, I've figured it out :-) . After creating the discussion groups, you need to go to discussions as a user, hit +, and make a post. Then that category will appear. I called my first one 'About' as I couldn't see a way to add an 'about' for the forum. I am guessing that other parts of una will work similarly (empty until first post).
BTW, for others who need to find out how to create discussion categories, here's a crib from Five For A Change.
Studio -> Forms -> Data Items -> Select Module -> Discussions Categories -> Add New Item -
did you try to go to studio > forms > data items > select module drop down menu and from that drop down choose discussions > then on select list > choose forum categories > add new item on upper right corner?

I am adding categories but sometimes, after I type in the name and make sure English is selected, then I tick the box to use empty value, the box returns as such
