dolphin to una migration failed

hello
have anybody experience with migrate dolphin to una? i tried it, but not really works. a lot of content are not transferred and all woman are now man. also i had the problem, that the migration tool hangs up after a while or the server, i must often reload the migration page to get the transfer complete. sometimes this trick not worked. not all photos and videos was transferred, from forum was a lot not transferred. who knows help?

    • I hope you had a back up, also i read here somewhere that it's NOT a good idea to perform that migration.

      • You are not the first to have had issues migrating a Dolphin site to UNA.

        My question is how does the process work?  Do I install a UNA site and then it copies over the data from the Dolphin site?  Where does the migration script run; on the Dolphin site or the UNA site?

          yes, have a backup :)

          installed una next dolphin, in una studio runs the migration tool, after you set the path to dolphin.

          now i found out, the forum categories was transferred, but not shown on forum page, there are always shown just 7 categories.

          i believe, without help from a developer it is not possible to get success.

              The number of transferred modules' Items and available for transfer items can be different, because not the all profiles can be transferred and some mandatory fields required for UNA modules may not exist in Dolphin modules records. For example, your UNA site may already has admin profile and thus admin from the Dolphin will not be transferred and all his media files, forums and etc... also. So, you need to direct your attention on final green message which appears when transfer is complete. It contains the all transferred records.

              If you have many items in modules, it would be better to transfer them one by one and don't select the bulk of modules. Also if you have any database management tool ( phpmyadmin for example), you may open it and check if the number of records for selected module is increasing when you start the transfer. It allows to understand if the transfer is still active and continuing.

              • Script is working in as UNA module and copy data from Dolphin's folders(if it is files) and Dolphin's database and adds files to UNA storage folders and records to database. It doesn't change anything in Dolphin's files and doesn't delete anything in Dolphin.
