profile card
Hi AQB Soft
I want to display "labels" on profile cards. I am adding "label" to the info line. But it is not dispalyed. Help needed.

UMIT OZAYDIN can you post a link to your site and probably a screen shot of your configuration where you add the "label".

I was adding them in studio / profile cards screen.
I managed to add labels to proile card by enabling channels in snippet meta menu. Are they one and same channel = label?
Profile cards display meta data. If you browse among new members, now tags are visible.However, without adding meta, I could not make tags appear.
I hope this is clear.

The Profile Cards module operates with the same features which are available to a default profile card. So if you need some "label" (meta info) to be available then you have to add it to a profile card's meta info menu. But as far as I see you've already managed it.

Yes and no. Yes, with meta.
No, as a standalone "label" on line 1 or line 2.Also no for the layout. If user has two or more labels, profile card does not show all. Tries to center the text and it becomes unreadable.
Is it possible to cutomize this?

Have you tried enabling the Labels for a View Person form also? This should make it available on the Info Line builder.

We've reproduced the problem on our dev server. Unfortunately no, the Labels can not be shown on a profile card because this is not a regular field but rather a complex feature. The Info Lines can show just raw data taken directly from database for a listed field, but Labels is a bit more complex with its channels, links to channels, etc.

Thank you AQB Soft . It may be a smart enhancement - linking profiel cards to channels and all related content could improve member engagement. You may want to include this in your mid term development plans.

This is the way the Location field is being rendered. May be it is City-Province, I'm not sure. You can see the same result here for Location:

The Profile Cards module just uses the same way of rendering which is used in other places.

If you'll look at the Google Map and hover mouse cursor of locations parts then it seems like it is City - State - Country.

Yes but this happened with 11 beta update. I need to think about a better way of presenting location.

In any way this question is not related to Profile Cards already. Perhaps you could start a new topic to discuss this problem which is related to the UNA 11 itself and the way it displays Location across the site.
