UNA 11-B1 - Testing, Issues, & Bugs
Hey Everyone,I just upgraded to UNA 11-B1 and have started testing stuff. Wanted to get a thread going on those who have upgraded and any issues they have encountered. I will start it from what I have seen so far on my site and here.
Timeline Posts:
If you are using the "United" post form for Timeline, there are 3 little dots to the right of block. This is extremely difficult to see via Mobile. I only have 2 items that can be used in this field (Update and Poll) on my site. Why is there dots anyway? Any way that can be changed? Also in Mobile view, the block name "Add New..." is cut off and all I can see on my site is "Add ne..."
It was mentioned here and verified that if a user replies to a Timeline post or a discussion more than once, their Avatar shows up multiple times. Should only show the Avatars 1 time.
On a side note: I really wished we could have gotten Giphy integration with Posts and Comments 😪
Badges:
Pretty cool. So these are blank and you will need to "create" you own badge to start using them . I did this and noticed that the Badge only shows in the Original post on the Timeline but not in the replies. My personal opinion is that the Badge goes with them everywhere their username is displayed. Took me a moment to figure out to give these to people but, is there a way for member to "request" badges?

Looks like some changes went in for this and the style of how format buttons are shown. I see there are 3 dots stacked next to "some" of the format options. This means there are "more" options to this button. I also noticed that my emoji button has now moved in to the + button for More Rich. I will move that back myself.
Baloo just mentioned this as well. I can also see that the blue Thumbs Up has changed to a dark grey on my site.

Points Leaderboard on the Homepage here is messed up. - I know this was reported by other users but not sure if it was ever fixed.

Just checking around but I assume Credits and Wiki did not make it in this Beta?

Hey Baloo - For now, you can change that Black/Grey Like "Thumbs up" icon by going into Developer > Data Items > System > Reactions
Edit the Like button there. Currently they have the color as grey:
Original: a:3:{s:4:"icon";s:9:"thumbs-up";s:5:"color";s:20:"sys-colored col-gray";s:6:"weight";s:1:"1";}
Change it to Blue
Original: a:3:{s:4:"icon";s:9:"thumbs-up";s:5:"color";s:20:"sys-colored col-blue";s:6:"weight";s:1:"1";}

Event Module:
person profile ：
page/joined-events?profile_id=3
ErrorPAGE WAS NOT FOUND -
I created a profile at the UNA test site. When I go to my profile, and choose events, I do see the same error displayed.
I have not joined any type of events so, I get why the page was not found but it should say something like:
"You have not joined any events" or something like that instead.

I opened a discussion about update 11 this morning. I addressed beta issues in there too.

i updated a test installation to una 11 beta
the update works fine.
the bug i found was with a dtabase error in red. I uploaded a video mp4 with sound
after some seconds i saw a rendered video start pic but as i want to click ready to the album, the error data message in red was on the screen after some secondsis this the place to report errors?

Could you please check if all modules were updated too ? it can be checked in Studio > Apps Market > Updates

Alex T⚜️ I have found something to report. Una.io states I have 1 notification. When i click on the 1, I get the following Undefined message top left corner. See attached image.

Hi gentlemen, how do i get my site into the Beta Upgrade mode?
I want to run my Test Site on the latest version.

Go into Studio > Developer app and change the update channel from stable to beta.
If you don't have ther Developer app, you cam download it from the app market.

but on a fresh install of una version 10.1 you CANT install the dev app like any other app by the way... for now the website is just frozen with the base core.. cant install anything since the version 11 will be available for everyone... that suck... i wanted to work on my website today and i cant :(

If you look up Chris gave another member a way to set up to install UNA 11 Beta version. Check that out and see if it works

got some problem with the email confirmation for member... i just install a fresh new version of una... use the dev app to upgrade to version 11.... i set my website to invite only.... i try it... send to myself an invite request... everything works fine... but after i create an account with the invite email... i also receiive an email to confirm my email.. perfect... i confirm... but the bug is that the account still show the notice that i need to confirm my email... and when i click on the link resend confirm email... i click on the link and the server told me that my email is already confirmed... but i still see the notice that my account is not email confirm....

I just upgraded to UNA 11 B1 and I tried to use the Wiki module but the web page could not be found. So I thought there might be a configuration issue, so I tried to open the Wiki module in Studio and it also has an error 500 page isn't working.
studio/module.php?name=bx_wiki -
In UNA 11 B1, I added a new file in the Files module. While the file is added, the redirect after clicking the Submit button takes you to a "page isn't working" page (/page/create-file )

Nevermind...it seems like all of the updates were not executed.

Anyone know which file/line number we need to adjust to get it to appear correctly?

In a "Wiki" block that I have placed on the Homepage, is there a way to use anchor links within the block to "jump to" an anchor or heading?. An example would be like [link title](
#headertitle). It seems that because the block is embedded in a page, this functionality does not work. Any ideas -
I have added a Wiki Block to the "View Group" page. I then edit the wiki with some text. That same text shows up in ALL of the groups. Once the text is in the wiki, I cannot delete it from any of the groups. Also, if I delete the wiki from any of the groups, it deletes it from all of the groups.
Is this expected behavior?

I have searched this site for "unsafe html" which is a permission in the wiki module. I don't see any description of what this is? Does anyone have any idea about what this allows and how "unsafe" is defined?
