Pushing app to iOS store - DUNS Number
I tried posting my app to the iOS store a few months back from an individual name and it wanted me to do it through an organization name. Turns out, in order to migrate my account to organization I need a DUNS number.
Anyone else have this barrier? What about the fellas at UNA Andrew Boon Mark Purser

I used my site name and had to apply for a dunns number. After applying it took about a week to get my number.

Was your site name a registered business with the government? (US or CAD)
-
No, it is not. Didn't seem to be a problem.

Yes Harry Sondre I'm very sure that my site name is not registered as a biz. If it makes any difference I used "CycleMadness", not "CycleMadness.net".

I am wondering if it matters that I am Canadian.

I would contact D&B directly to assist in the verification process. Email: appdeveloper@dnb.com
I'm guessing they are your best bet.

You can just apply for an individual account the only issues we've seen is you cant add a developer account or admin to that. So only your access will be used if you have a developer.
But it will not matter if your the one that will work till you submit. -

My experience is you will need an apple device(macbook in my case) to receive verification code for someone else to sign in on a different device and give that code to them.
