Switching profiles causes problem

I am using 11.0.0 RC1 and I just used the "switch profile" feature to view the site from another account. When I did that, I lost visibility of the profile icon in the upper-right hand corner. Fortunately I was still logged in on my mobile device, so I was able to get into the studio and switch accounts back. I think this could cause confusion for admin users. Perhaps I could have cleared the cache as well, but a regular user may not know how to switch their profile back to the admin account.

I can't reproduce this problem.
Could you please elaborate more on this, what is shown in top right corder instead of user icon ? could you please provide screenshot ?

I just upgraded to RC2, but I will see if the issue still presents itself. Stand by please

I would suggest to check if this menu item is enabled for all user levels, it maybe you switched to the profile which has no access to this menu item so it isn't shown.

This happened to me in 10.1.0 when I was testing with mod_security enabled.
