Adding and changing fields for Profiles Information
If I wanted to add some fields to the "Info Block" (On profile page) that shows up and them be functional how would I do this.
What I would like to add:
* Occupation (This would show current)
* Nicknames (Input by text)
* Phone (can hide or show and show to preference: Friends, Family, Public, Hidden, etc.)
* Here For (Selectable by user: Friends, Family, Business, Dating, Networking) They could can select only one ( I would like this available on join page to.)
* Relationship status (Selectable by user: (Only one) Married, single, its complicated, Divorced, Widowed, other)
*Hometown
*Current Place living (city, state) (Possibly a small map would show location)
I'd also like to add blocks to profile such as:
* Schools attended
* Interests
* Hobbies
* Favorite Books
* Favorite Movies

Hi, if you go to studio > pages > on the left menu of apps, scroll down and choose persons > then on the drop down where it says select page > click on it and near the bottom choose view profile and then u can move the blocks how u want it to appear.

These are helpful but neither is what I am seeking. What I want to do is add information to the already existing "Info block", (that has email, birthdate, etc.) that is in the "Persons page". I'd like to add to that information with the above additions...

I don't think either of the approaches - using the PageBuilder or creating/updating a Form - answer the question asked. Is there any way to edit and add fields to an already existing block, e.g. if I add a Nickname field to a Profile (i.e. adding a new text field to the Create and Edit Profile forms), how do I get the Profile Info block to display this new Nickname field? My instinct tells me this would need code changes.

If you added the new field correctly to Add Person form then this field will appear as disabled item in View Person form and you need just to "enable" it.

I am looking at this as I am trying to make a profile fields for the profile info. I have managed to make the profile fileds in the forms but I can find no way to make the appear in the profile info. The video provided looks nothing like the dolphin una i currently have.

I have managed to figure this out, the video provided further up is out of date. and its not simple enough. I really think I would like to make some how to do simple guides because I find the instructions on how to do anything to be lacking.

I would like to change "Full Name" field to a "First Name" field and a "Last Name" field. I tried to follow this thread, which seems to be relevant, but doesn't give the answer. Does anyone know how to do specifically what I am trying to do? Thanks!!

You may add the "Last Name" field according to mentioned manuals and rename "Full Name" into "First Name" via the Studio->Polyglot->Persons area.
