Video Downloader Module by AQB Soft
I have the 'Video Downloader" module installed on my site. Video downloads are failing. I am unable to update to the latest version. This is the error message I am getting when I try to do the update.
ERROR: can't find the current version. Please try again later.
youtube-dl version: 2020.02.16 (check updates)
This is the latest version I am finding online youtube-dl 2020.05.08

Perhaps something went wrong during the last youtube-dl binary update. Try to reinstall the module (completely uninstall it first, including file deletion) and update the youtube-dl binary again.

You have to remove the files physically to revert the module back to its original state. If done correctly then the youtube-dl binary should revert back to the version: 2019.09.12.1.
To do that after uninstalling the module proceed to [studio -> apps market -> downloaded] find the module there and hit the "delete" button for it. Wait for about 5-10 minutes and then install the module back.

I tried that. See screenshot of what I am getting now. It says permission denied. Can not update.

I just did a server audit. Could this have something to do with it? See screenshot.

This means that during the archive extraction the binary has lost the executable permissions. You need to manually make it executable via FTP or via file manager in cPanel.

Do I make it executable for all three? user, group, world? Or just user?

Is this happening during hitting the "check updates" link?
It seems that this is something wrong with the server's SSL configuration.If you can provide us with a FTP access we can manually update the binary for you by uploading the latest version directly via FTP. Or provide us with your email so we could send you the latest version of that binary so you could upload it yourself - this should also work.
