Invite process - Looking for ideas

Hi everyone!

As my community continues to grow, I am finding more and more people want to invite people they know to join. Which is great. However, I want to optimize this process to account for certain things...

1) Easy - I want to make it extremely easy for my members to invite people. Ideally, in multiple ways. Eg: an email that gets sent with a link to create an account OR even a link they can copy where the new user can create an account.

2) Goes to direct email... Now this is the big one... from my experience, the standard UNA invite system sends an email that goes to spam... I cannot have this

3) Trackable so I can give them points through Points System: I want to be able to reward the members that send out invites,,, but also, good invites. If someone actually creates an account using their invite, they get points..

Please help me - whats the best way to do this?

    • wouldnt it be easier for your members to just send their friends your website link? I don't know hardly anyone that checks their email to join websites as emails are notorious for scams, viruses, spam etc. Your best bet is to create a list of codes like "XzC4rDf6K" to give to people. Next step is to create a special sign up field that has to be filled out with the referral code. If the code matchs the person who sent code link gets assigned points. You can then delete the code answer required for custom field so not to be used again. I hope you understand what I'm saying by creating a custom profile field requirement for invite. Also give people an option to sign up regularly just in case they lost the code etc

      • Hey Harry Sondre . As for site emails going to spam you might try Mailjet.com. It's easy to set up, your site mail doesn't go to spam and it's free. You can also track emails.

        • Points for already invite users good idea! About spam - you must use white ip/smtp server gsuite for example. To test you ip in blacklist use https://mxtoolbox.com/
