Links with https:// get removed from messenger

I have tried to send a link through messenger (Jitsi) that begins with https:// and it is removed. Is this by design?

UPDATE: After some time, when you look at the chat again, the link shows up. But this throws off the user who doesn't see it show up immediately like normal text.

Such kind of problem was executed in of the previous versions, but in the latest it should not exist. Can you please provide me with Messenger version which you have?
