Is Andrew Boon OK?

I am beginning to worry about Andrew Boon , I hope he is OK.  I mentioned him a few times in some posts and he hasn't answered. I know the Covid stuff is in Australia; I hope he isn't lockdowned in quarantine; I have seen the draconian measures that the Gestapo are doing in Australia.

    • I hope for Andrew's Sake he is fine.  I have some good friends in Melbourne and Turanga, out on the eastern tip- actually lot of good folk out that way really good folk, and all reports are that most cannot drive more than 5km from the home, except to market and back.   so that is pretty strict, i cannot imagine anyone easing into that.
as for health, I hope Andrew is fine. I hear without offering medical advice that if you can keep your immune system calm, and give lots of powdered or capsuled vitamin C (you can buy it for 6$ in 250g bulk bags or capsuled) good mental outlook of a champion , sleep, good food and i suspect most people would make it out ok. The trick would be in your awareness as like most respiratory viruses, they create mucus. This is basically like the flu, that turned into bronchitis, but isnt a virus. so thats why its a bit new to the body and the govts have all been worried about it.
otherwise, if you have been sick a lot as a kid, or adult- odds are you are totally fine and just practice proper and good hygiene, and often. :)

      • I have also heard that Zinc and Vitamin D is also recommended.

        • Hey guys! Thank you. Really appreciate your concern and sharing good tips.

We are quite lucky here in Australia. Not many COVID cases at all. My parents in LA though are much more exposed and we hear a lot of horror stories coming from the US. I hope you guys figure it out soon and tackle the spread of all those things - virus, violence, fire, division. The country is full of amazing, kind and ingenious people that should be able to sort out this mess.

I am fine personally, just been really busy with custom implementations and a few large projects based on UNA. A lot of new features and improvements are coming based on that.

I should be much more available this week and further, so with any luck should be able to restart regular videos and posts.

          stay tuned

          • Glad to hear that you are OK.  Don't believe the horror stories from the US; everything here is political and the election is just making it worst.  The CDC finally admitted that only 6% of the 200000 are deaths from only covid-19; which would be around 12,000 deaths which sounds correct for a virus that is not even as deadly as the seasonal flu.  They even counted suicides as covid-19 deaths; anything to get the numbers up.

The US has updated the survival rate for each age group for covid-19.

            0-19 99.997%

            20-49 99.98%

            50-69 99.5%

            70+ 94.6%

The people at risk are those with existing health issues and the very old that already have a failing immune system due to age.

            • I certainly hope it’s not as bad as it is presented. Surely plenty of people are suffering from derivative causes like lockdown related depression, unemployment, broken families, etc. it’s a tragedy whichever way you slice it. More self-induced, but still a tragedy.

              • Andrew Boon OK, I asked about the Moxie Manager in Dolphin as well; will that also have to wait until you can address the Dolphin bugs or has the license you held for Moxie Manager has expired.

                • We should be able to get back to this after v12 release. Just really packed now - a lot of the time goes into performance tests and code optimisation based on live high-traffic site observation.

As for MoxieManager - they're not selling MM license anymore, everything seems to be packed in with TinyCloud.
