Android app build failed

Hi, I've been trying to build my Android app in Android Studio. I end up having these errors: "cannot find symbol variable DEBUG" and "illegal start of type" (screenshots attached). Can somebody please tell me how I can eliminate these errors?  Thanks a lot!
