Game
Hello, here is just a suggestion, i know dolphin had it and other platforms have it, but has any developer thought about creating a module with games installed? If not, can one of you maybe build a module that has the game pool in it, so they can play with each other, this can cause users to stay on site longer, just throwing this idea out there.

Good idea but flash is OFF now. Any html5* or java game.

I've actually looked up HTML5 games and there's quite a few but you can embed them. You would have to buy a license to get rid of the adds though and create a new page and use html blocks

Great idea... HTML5 games would be a very good incentive to keep people on the site.

I have put a radio station on my site and it is working really well. Members are able to put the covers on the radio. Game sounds like a really good idea too.

These were a few I had looked into
The Wanted5games site is cool

Hey Will Roberts i have not done much research on the Wanted5games site, is that the one that we need to pay?
-
I believe the code is for free so basically copy and paste but I also think you can buy a license to get rid of the ads in the games and make them permanently yours

I created a games module primarily using the available feed from htmlgames.com but you can also embed Wanted5games and other games. You will have to buy a license to games to remove ads and get onsite functionality such as high scores etc.
See demo at http://una.dolphinmods.com/page/games-home

Awesome!!!! Do u have it posted on the market here? I just followed the link u provided on my cell, looks pretty good on mobile. I located the pool game and fooled around with others, nice! I have question, in the pool game, is there or do u plan on configuring at some point where 2 users of the site can play against eachother?
-
It is not posted in the market as yet. With free versions of games, you typically will not have the capability to configure with users of the site. You would have to purchase the premium version from the company to get such possibilities.

The link is showing up empty for me
-
The data will be emptied periodically as the module is still in development. You can check again.

I used the Articles mod to create a Game module. I modified the language files and changed some of the key values. Lastly, I made it so that only an Admin can post a new "game". The last thing I may do is change the URL, but it's not a deal breaker for me. It seems to work pretty well:
-
Yes, you could do that but you will not have the ability to populate with tons of games. You will have to add them one by one which isn't practical.
-
Very true. It's a temporary measure until your mod is released.
-
You are correct we already implemented it in our custom app html5 is best way to go.

Hi, in this mod, can users play against each other?
-
No, as mentioned earlier you will have to buy a license to games to remove ads and get onsite functionality such as playing against each other, high scores etc. I doubt you will find free games anywhere that gives those functionalities by default.
