When I logged into UNA.IO, the notification counters weren't showing anything, and yet I had a series of news. I then looked on my test site, it's the same thing. No counter is displayed, as if there was nothing new. To see them appear I must visit a section that contains them, such as the mailbox, or popularity or messenger. in short, something that contains new standards. Then, if I go back to the homepage, the counters go off again. See the attached video.
Hey Baloo - I was JUST about to post this. I happened to notice the same thing on my Production site. I get the email notifications, and they DO show if you click the Bell icon however, there is no number showing you have any notifications.
Counter is NOT working. Seems to be the same thing with Points as well.
I was doing some playing around and noticed that the counter is working on all other pages EXCEPT for the homepage. Note sure why though. Disabling/Enabling the few items I have didn't seem to make any difference.
EDIT: Same happens here at UNA. If you go to the homepage una.io - you will see the counter disappears there. So, looks like an issue with the homepage???
Hey Baloo - I disabled my Points module and it seems my counter is working again. Not sure if that was the issue or not but, maybe you can try it on your test site and see if it starts working for you again? Could be just coincidence?
Indeed Chris, you're right, linked to the home page, it works on the other pages. You're right, disabling / re-enabling the point module seems to have solved the problem. Thank you. So it would be nice for someone to do it here on UNA.IO but maybe Alexey must know.
This is still an issue that seems to have come back again. The same thing is happening here at UNA as well. Can someone please take a look into this? I have confirmed with my members that they are also not seeing the new notifications counter working on the main homepage.
Some to consider - For me and for UNA, we both have our timeline module on the main homepage. So not sure if that has something to do with it since this page is the ONLY one having issues.
