How do I add second email addres field to sign up form

Since the sign up form only has one email address field, it's prone to errors.  How do I add a second email address field that must match the first.  I'm getting a lot of unconfirmed accounts, and I suspect incorrect email addresses are contributing to the problem.  This was easy in Dolphin's back end, but here it's a mystery.

    • Perhaps that should be included in v12 release version. I often wondered about that also.

      • People can change email in settings when mistake!

        • If they know there's a mistake.  This is pretty much industry standard now to have to boxes and run a check that they match.  Give me a few on this Houston.  I'll see if I can't dig something up we can start with.

          • They see text with they email)) just edit lang key with instruction.

            • No Rocco, they can't. If you inadvertently make a mistake entering your email address on the Sign Up form, you'll never get the confirmation email to activate the account... and you certainly won't be able to log in.  Activating the account manually is useless, if the email address was entered incorrectly.

              • I can't believe there isn't two email address fields on the sign up form by default.  Geeze... I'm gone for a few short years and things like this are allowed to happen. Two email address fields, or at least the option thereof, are essential.

                • Hey HL - Welcome over to the other dark side... I too have just emerged from a long downtime from the Boonex platform.  An "email" field "type" to select within Developer would do the trick...but as you stated, it should have already been created...

                  • This should be as standard as the confirm password by having them type it twice.   Thinking the solution here is going to be to use java for the real-time match.
