Account pending

Hi,

today I saw in Dashboard -> Manage Accounts that one of the accounts has the pending status.
How can standard user set his account to pending status? Or any other status?

It is strange since Admin didn't set this account to pending status, the Account is confirmed by Email....
so I would like to know?

Any suggestions?

With the disabled autoactivation, the standard accounts may change their status after the changing of their emails.

the automatic account activation is turned on...
that is why it was so strange. Happend once for one profile only.....

I think it maybe Antispam module, this setting controls it:
