Messenger Add photo
When I go to a site and copy the image and then paste it into messenger; does it upload the image to my server?

Mmmm. Not good; that could be a violation of copyright; big difference between simply linking to an image and uploading it to your server. No need to upload, simply form image tag with src = remote url. If the image is removed at the remote site; no big deal; happens all the time.

its no big difference between / violation of copyright can be linking and uploading / its in the end the same thing - but for this u can insert ur terms of use / in big communitys u can´t control it really and they are full of it

Yes, by default photo is uploaded to the server for processing (resizing, optimization). But you can use embedly and insert url to the image instead of copy past of the photo, in this case only URL will be used.
