API calls

Hello,

I have successfully installed and configured UNA on my server, and so far everything runs smoothly. (Minor hiccups on Azure, but nothing too complicated)

According to the documentation, there should be API calls available for use, although they seem to be under m/oAuth path, which tells me that I should buy the oAuth package.

Is this correct?

If so, would I be able to transfer that purchase over my PROD environment once the site is fully deployed or should I buy one for each environment (Dev/QA/etc)

Thanks,
JM

    • Update: I have installed OAuth2 Server plugin and successfully used Postman to reach the endpoints. I will continue to test this.

      • Hi Jose, Glad to hear of your progress.

Did your videos upload and were they processed successfully?

        Thank you.

        • I have not yet made any post to timeline from the APIs. I believe we will need to make that method as it is not included in the documentation.

However, making a video post from the website does work, but the video takes some time to upload (probably my internet connection) and to process it after uploaded (5min aprox).

          • You need to have OAuth module installed to perform API calls.

            For the dev environment:

You can buy module and use it on dev site, then when your site is moved to the production and domain name is changed,
you need to generate new key&secret for your site, then reset the license, then go your productions site studio > apps market, license will be automatically assigned to the new key&secret pair for the production site.

            • Thank you Alex, I am creating a different server and need to reset the license, but I can't find where to do it. Can you please let me know where is this done?

              Thanks,
              JM

              • Hello Jose!

Keys and Secrets area is located in the top-right menu of your account here, at https://una.io/page/kands-manage

                With the best regards, Leonid
