Profile Pics uploaded from phone only show 3/4 of picture

I'm taking a guess here that it is a size issue.

Also taking a guess at the size as I have a similar phone to hers. Took a selfie from mine and it says -

1.90MB

Resolution: 3264x2448
I've tested this the other times it's done this and it always seems to happen when someone uploads it from their phone. It never seems to happen when they upload from the computer.

What is the "First Zoon"?

What would you suggest to set the max execution time/memory limits to?

I went ahead and contact my server guys about that issue.

So my server guys say that everything was already maxed and should be working fine...

I figured out where it goes wrong but it will have to be fixed on your end.

You have to select the option to take the picture directly from your phone at the time of upload. Here's the steps. Otherwise you won't be able to recreate it because it works fine with pictures already taken.

I just recreated it on the MeCanX account on the site.

So here's where the problem is:

1. I go to change my profile picture
2. I click on change profile picture on mobile
3. I then select upload and crop
4. Next, select a file
5. Then I select the option to take a picture directly from the camera. (this is where it happens)
6. I take the picture and for some reason it's sideways.
7. I rotate it
8. I upload it
9. It then only loads it as 3/4 of a picture

Refer to my MeCanX Profile and you'll see it did it to me also...

I also did a picture that was already taken on my camera and it worked perfectly fine...so it's an issue with when someone takes the picture directly from the camera on the phone at that time of upload.

So far I just know it's happening on Android devices. Doesn't matter what phone...

He's another interesting glitch that I found that I'm pretty sure involves this issue.

Here's what I did.

1. Tried to upload a pic to the events page via mobile and had the same issue with the picture only showing 3/4.
2. Then tried to upload it via my computer with the same picture and now it won't delete the original picture that I uploaded via mobile...
3. Each time I try to upload a new picture to replace the old one...it keeps just stacking them on top of each other (I can't delete them) and then it still displays the old pic.
4. Can't delete any of them now when I go to edit the event...
5. I even went into the database and deleted all the pictures then tried to re-upload it and it's still doing it.

So somewhere, when someone uploads a pic via mobile...it screws everything up after that for that post/event.

Update:

So this is what I figured out.

1. When I import the same picture into Gimp (image editor), it thinks that the photo is sideways. (horizontal)
2. The picture was taken vertically
3. I have to rotate it so it is vertical and then re-save it as a vertical picture.
4. I then re-uploaded it and it worked...

So I wonder if it's the same issue that you guys had when I first started using UNA with Vertical pictures always showing up sideways (Horizontal)...? You'll have to reference the discussion since I can't put a link on here...

I did notice that when I uploaded it originally to the site...it made me rotate the picture from horizontal to vertical...so I'm wondering if that for some reason affects it?

Do you know when that update will be available?
I'm seeing a bunch of updates for the site but can't update anything because the RC7 isn't available...
