Stream module configuration and how to setup the streaming server
In another discussion we came across the issue that the wiki entry about streaming configuration https://github.com/unaio/una/wiki/Streams is rather confusing.
The difference between streaming server config file and Sources pattern in Stream module settings is confusing and I'd like to ask @Alex T⚜️ for more information what to configure in config file and what the sources pattern setting does.

There are some examples of sources pattern for both OME and Nginx in the documentation:
https://github.com/unaio/una/wiki/Streams
If you need more examples and more info please refer to the documentation for the player which is used to play the stream, so Sources Patters is actually "sources" configuration option for the OvenPlayer:

Ok, to sum it up, config files are general settings for the streaming server and have to be configured on the machine hosting the nginx or the OME server. In Stream module settings, section "Sources pattern" is for settings controlling the output of the player. Did I get that right?

Sources pattern is needed just for the player to play the correct video stream, video stream is separately configured on the streaming server (Nginx or OME)

I'd like to recommend this post on the airensoft website (developers of OvenMediaEngine) https://www.airensoft.com/post/review-ome-russia, which gives a step-by-step description of installing OME on Unbuntu 20 in a docker container.
