So with the studio admin based password reset being down the only way to do a password reset is with the forgot password. Now what Im about to say has happened with 3 different physical phones and both operating systems. When using the phone to do the forgot password feature the first thing I noticed was it takes between 8-10 reCaptcha screens before it lets you proceed. I meticulously paid close attention to make sure I completed each screen successfully and I still had to go through 8 screens (I used my phone to try and do a password reset on my test account). So once I got past reCaptcha it sent me the email. Everytime I tried the link on the phone I got an error. This process was tried multiple times never succeeding and I personally did my own and I witnessed and ultimately resolved the other peoples issue via my pc. So my phone opened the reset link first in Safari and I also tried Chrome and got the error both times. So I used the email on my pc and it worked fine. Now UNA support tried on Android and also on Apple and reported everything went through just fine. So if someone could provide any answers with this issue I would greatly appreciate it as some people dont have a pc. Thanks.
So in looking to expand on video conferencing I built my own Jitsi server and it works great. So I changed the server in settings in studio and tested it and it worked great. So tonight we had a conference and had an issue that I troubleshot and found that the pc browsers and phone connections were not on the same page in that all the pc browsers seemed to be on their own network and likewise the phones were on their own. Its like meet.jit.si is hard coded as the server. Once I changed the setting in studio back to meet.jit.si everyone was able to communicate cross platform. Could someone let me know if that is the case or what the problem could be? Thanks.
I have created a custom membership based on the moderator. I have found different anomalies with the new membership level and have found yet another one. On all the standard memberships with the template Im using in the upper right hand corner next to the notifications bell is a plus sign which brings down a menu of items you can create, ie. update, post, poll, etc. For some reason the custom member I made does not see this and I dont know why. I have compared membership permissions between the moderator and the new membership and found nothing. I am attaching images showing the difference. I just need to know how to fix this for the new membership I have created. Thanks.
i have the Black List module installed and need to know if there is a way to check that. I have staff that monitor activity and can’t have them being blocked. Right now I don’t know where to look to see if someone has been blocked and would that mean that the Administrator could be blocked? Thanks for your help.
Ok this issue has occured now twice. A couple of days ago and again today. My wife who has a membership level of Assistant Administrator (thats a custom membership i created and I tried the moderator and administrator memberships and it made no difference). Anyway she went to click on a new users profile and got "Page Error". i was able to access the profile with no issues. That problem resolved itself as I did not make any changes. Now today again with a new user she tried to access their profile but this time she gets Access Denied. I also logged in via the PC browser and got the same result however I noticed one thing. The new user added a profile picture which I see on my account but on my wifes account the profile picture is not there. Any ideas on what could be happening here. I created a mailing list to go to unconfirmed users and selected unconfirmed for the segment and when it goes to run it says there are zero to send. I know I have some unconfirmed users as I can see them in my dashboard. Why would the mailing list not recognize that?
