Hi everyone,
Reason for using Cloud Hosting is very simple. High performance and scalability.
Instead of looking at the multi-site architect , database clustering really solve the issue of running a multi-community platform using only a single domain.
Well, Hosting companies like TMDHosting who is a bit cheaper then UNA and offers pre-configured UNA platforms eliminates the pain of doing it yourself. This includes setting up or I might as well say take a step back and learn how Cloud Computing really works.
We have Google cloud, Digital Ocean etc. and I have just signed up with Linode.
To be very effective in doing this myself, I will need a little help.
I basically need my UNA installation running on my primary database(read/write) and other databases that will be read only. This is the database cluster architect that helps with Cloud Hosting.
If anyone of you guys did so with Linode or Google cloud or so... Please help me to understand a few things like do I setup a Virtual Machine with Ubuntu x.xx load apache2 etc.
I have limited lime left before my $100 credit expires and do not wish to waste time. I do have linux experience and done installations on docker, virtualbox etc.
Thanks in advance..
Regards
Chris

Hi everyone,
Please spare me the "figuring out how part"
My requirements in a nutshell:
I am the owner of my site but wish to have administrators. My standard users will not have all the default features available and therefore must apply to join a particular level of permission, be it paid or not.
Where can I find any guideline that will help me step by step to put all this together?
Case scenario:
People join and wish to create organizations. I've revoked that privilege because there must be a process of approval to grant them these permissions by means of assigning a higher level to them OR if this process Ott to be automatic and maybe even require a paid subscription.
Thanks in advance
Regards

Hey everyone,
I need some guidance as to how we go about installing or integrate Froala Editor into our UNA platform. I've read up on some of the articles posted but just couldn't get the answer I was looking for.
In the same breath.... I wish to design some nice pages to add to my collection and currently use third-party software outside my UNA development environment and later on use the html output together with its associated css and js etc. files, to incorporate it to a page using the custom widget etc.
There are some coding standards that we need to follow and I just can't get myself around it. I've also noticed that external css files like fonts. googleapis can become an issue when used in our templates and perhaps by third-party software resulting in overwriting one the other.
Any advice....bare with me as I am still a newbie and learning, so forgive me if any of the questions seem odd or so.
Thanks

According to our documentation (https://una.io/wiki/MySQL-cluster) this is how we would implement db clustering. Well explained though but I am still in the dark as this is all new to me. I do however according to my requirements need to have this configured because my user base will be across cities, countries, I might as well say a facebook like userbase. What I need is a clear step by step example particular to my UNA platform. If I could have separated my database for example into let's say communities, now spaces will help in this regard to separate communities, but if I could have stored each space on its own database or if some of our experts can perhaps give me some advice as to how this can be done.
